I decided to be spontaneous and hitch a ride with my parents to Disneyland. They were going with Blake and his awesome girlfriend Allison for her birthday. So Sam and I packed up and were on our way. Poor Devin had to stay home and work. It was a fun trip but Sam wasn't as excited about Disneyland as I had hoped and there are not a lot of things a pregnant girl can do. Mostly we just had fun hanging out with my cousins and being away from the snow. Thanks Mom and Dad for helping us to have a fun weekend!Sam and my brother Blake

Going on Small World. I liked the changes, but it still had the old stuff I remember. Now if I could just get Devin to go on it!

I wish this is what I saw out my window instead of snow. It was overcast but still very beautiful.

Worst.Service.Ever!
We were excited to get an Iggy's Sports Grill by the University Mall. Devin went there with work friends for lunch and said it was great. Beginers Luck!
Devin and I went there after my ultrasound and the service was terrible. The waitress seemed to have no idea what was going on and Devin's burger came to the table minus the onions and sauce (so it was just a bun, meat and lettuce). Kinda important ingredients! The fries and the bbq fry sauce are delicious though. Then our waitress took on two more tables and totally forgot about us. We waited for her to bring the check for over 15 minutes. She seemed surprized that we were still there. The food was really good though. We thought of all sorts of excuses... it's only been open about a week, she's in her 50s and probably doesn't want to be a waitress etc. We were trying to be nice and we gave them another chance. Oops!
Last night we wanted yummy burgers again so Devin ordered over the phone. I don't think the girl had ever taken a phone order. Seriously. Devin ordered our meals and then had to ask her when they would be ready and then if she would like to put his name on our order.
As she was hanging up, she told Devin "Talk to you later". Did she think it was her boyfriend? Who says that to a customer? Devin said, (after he hung up) "Yes, I will talk to you in about 15 minutes when I get our food." Serious dingbat!
Devin went to get the food and waited for 10 minutes until someone offered to help him and then they said that they didn't understand his order. Really? Why didn't you say that on the phone? Why didn't you call back (oh, because you forgot to take a phone number)? Is "All American Burger" that hard to understand? Devin clarified his order and was told it would take 2 minutes. After 25 minutes they brought out the food and CHARGED HIM! Are you kidding????? You are going to make us pay full price for cold hamburgers that we had to wait 35 minutes for? I am much less patient and nice when it comes to things like this and probably would have walked out if they tried to make me pay for it, or at least talked to a manager.
Seriously delicious food and the worst customer service EVER! Watch out!!! We are going to wait a few months to go there again. Hopefully they will be able to pull it together by then.
Sometimes a pregnant woman just has to rant about the stupid people who stand between her and her food!

How did you sleep?
I feel like I have been hibernating for the last few months. We have had some pretty rough times and I am just starting to feel better. Sam also got sicker than he has ever been too. 5 straight days of throwing up. It was really hard. Now I am feeling pretty good in the mornings and afternoons and Sam and I are actually getting out. Finally!
Christmas came, eventhough I wasn't ready. Sam got all sorts of things with wheels and also new books. His favorite things. Devin spoiled me, as usual. We got to spend lots of fun time with family and I am looking forward to eating Christmas dinner next year! It was the first Christmas Eve that Devin and I have spent together in 6 years (our whole married life). It was so wonderful to not work and it was especially great during the holidays. So, please forgive us if we look a little funnier than normal. We are just starting to get back to normal life. Thanks to everyone who has been so helpful during this time. We love ya!

Excuses of a Blog Slacker
See the plus sign in the right window...
That's right, We're Pregnant! But I am the one throwing up all day. I've been so sick that I was throwing up for a whole week before the test even came back positive. Hasn't really been any fun until today. We heard the heartbeat for the first time and that was great! We are really excited and hope that the nausea will soon go away. I am about 11 weeks along and my due date is July 10th.
We are grateful for all the help we've had from family. Devin is really amazing! He is running this house and not complaining about it at all. I never stop complaining. Oh well, what's new.

Multiple Halloween Parties=Random Haloween Pictures
The first Hallowen party we went to was my Mom and Dad's ward party. My mom was Little Red Riding Hood and my dad was the Big Bad Woff (my maiden name is Woffinden, get it?). They were great and won third prize. My dad even sang some weird song about Little Red Riding Hood and then tried to convince us it was a real song. I guess it really is. Anyway, it was fun and dinner was yummy.Sam was a cute Monkey and Devin and I were Hawaiian tourists.
After the party, Sam and I went to see my Grandma who works at the Information Desk at the mall. She wanted to see Sam's costume and we did a little trick or treating at the mall. It was so great. Indoors, stroller friendly, and lots of candy in a small space. Not a bad idea.(I was Jane from Tarzan and Sam was a monkey. My dad didn't know who I was but said, "I figured you were from a Disney movie." He knows me well. Devin wouldn't be Tarzan. He had to be a knight for his work party. So sad.)

Halloween Preview
We, mostly Devin, love Halloween around here. He takes after his dad, who was the biggest Halloween NUT I ever met. He had crazy costumes, a different accent for each costume and a very spooky haunted house and yard.
Super cute glow-in-the-dark skeleton jammies from my brother Blake's special friend Allison. They are super cute. (The jammies, and Blake + Allison)
