Extra Day!

I was so excited to have an extra day this year (Feb 29th) but Sammy and I are stuck at home with sore throats. We still had fun though and he is being a better sport about it than me. I hate being sick! What did you do with your extra day?

America got it wrong!

Ok so I have to watch American Idol on the DVR because I am usually at work but I got to watch it last night (because I am sick and stayed home from work), anyway, I can't believe that Amanda Overmyer is still on the show. She was terrible! Alaina Whitaker was so much better than her. I was afraid that Alexandrea would be voted off even though she is really good too. At least we got rid of Jason Yeager but I though Robbie Carrico was better than Luke Menard. Oh well, that is what happens when America gets to vote. Just my crazy American Idol ranting. I kinda wish that I didin't love the show so much, but I can't get enough.

Happy Valentine's Day (slightly late)

Happy Valentine's Day! We had a fun day and are so lucky to have so many family and friends around to spend the day with. This is a picture of Sammy bringing you lots of love (at full speed).

First Time Sledding

Today some friends of ours invited us to go sledding. Sammy has never been sledding, so we borrowed a sled from our neighbor and went for an adventure. The snow was not very fast, which was probably good and Sammy went down the little hill a few times with both Devin and I. Mostly we just threw snowballs, and played in the snow. It was tons of fun and we are glad to have fun friends around. Now if only Sam wasn't so scared of other kids!

More Cousins!

This is a picture of Sammy and Lily Hansen taken at her familiy's going away party. We love Jeremy, Melissa, Johnson and Lily and miss them terribly. Lily really loved playing with Sam and Sam was having fun learning to play with the "big kids". We love you guys and can't wait to come visit you this fall.

SNOW!!!

It seems like we have had more than our fair share of snow this winter. I am ready for Spring! But it is fun to get bundled up and play in all this white stuff. This is Sammy, Devin, and Lucy playing in the backyard after a big snowstorm. Sammy may look a little scared but he really does like Lucy. She was so excited to play that she kept licking him and then knocking him down that day. What a bunch of Crazy Kids!
